David and his best friend, Brenda

I call Colorado home, and live just east of the Rocky Mountains with my wife Brenda, and our 6 kids.

After 8 years of service in the United States Army, I started my career in the technical field in 1994. I’ve designed infrastructure and implemented multiple ERP solutions in several verticals including Retail, Manufacturing, and Mining. I’ve led technical teams and supported companies such as Coca-Cola, Autodesk, AngloGold Ashanti, Vale, and Spyder Active Sports.

Since 2006 when Mick McAlear introduced me to the concept of a marriage between systems and process, I’ve been hooked on delivering process improvement and implementing systems to effectively do so. Seeing success on a technical level is one thing, but being able to actually participate in the success of a business when the appropriate process serves as both the technical and behavioral foundation is truly an incredible journey to play even a small part of.

While I have been involved in almost every aspect of the Business Process Framework, some of the activities that I’ve been most active in supporting the BPF implementations around the world include;

ASHANTIIWMC VAA

BulletSystems Architecture and Deployment initiatives including Vendor Selection, Infrastructure Planning as well as Systems to Process alignment, Configuration and Compliance

BulletSystems Gap Analysis, Implementation and Configuration on several ERP foundations including Oracle, Ellipse, SAP and Peoplesoft

BulletSystems integration efforts for a wide variety of supporting systems including; Mine Site, Mine24D, RPM XPAC, RPM XACT

BulletSystems Architecture and Deployment initiatives including Vendor Selection, Infrastructure Planning as well as Systems to Process alignment, Configuration and Compliance

BulletWork Management Gap Analysis, Critical Issue Resolution, Detailed Training, Role Holder Training, Go Live support and Post Go Live Coaching

BulletWork Management Stabilization and Continued Compliance monitoring initiatives that include site visits and reviews of Process and Practice to ensure maintained compliance against specific BPF measures

BulletSupply Chain Gap analysis, Critical Issue Resolution, Process development and Coaching Supply Chain teams to effectively resource as required

I’ve appreciated the experience, shared learning, friendships and opportunities that being part of every team that the Business Process Framework has introduced me to, and look forward to the new challenges and relationships to come.
