Louise McConnell

With 30 years at Inco/Vale – life has given me a broad set of experience from IT, Project Management, Organization Design & Effectiveness, ERP (SAP) Implementation, Performance Management and Business Process Improvement.

Throughout this first career – there are two things that stick out for me. First – the importance of people engagement in delivering business results. The principles of Requisite Organization and Systems Leadership are important to me and the work that I do. Second – how System Design, done properly, can change the world. The Business Process Framework (BPF) is one of these systems.

Through exposure to Mick McAlear and the BPF since 2007, I recognized good process when I saw it – and I haven’t looked back. My last 10 years at Inco/Vale were focused on helping leaders understand and implement the BPF across their mining and processing sites. Today, I see leaders that I’ve worked with in the past speaking the same language; asking the right questions and achieving sustained value through delivering stable performance, reducing variation and providing role clarity.
